# What Is Rabbithole

> Get paid to watch your money grow: deposit into supported protocols, hold, and earn rewards every second

[Rabbithole](https://app.rabbithole.gg) is an app where you earn rewards for keeping money deposited in onchain protocols. Pick a campaign, deposit into the vault, pool, or market it rewards, and your rewards start accruing immediately. Hold longer and hold more, and you earn more.

Your deposit stays in the underlying protocol the whole time. Rabbithole never holds it. The reward budget sits in a separate campaign contract and pays out when you claim.

## How Earning Works in One Minute

Every campaign has a fixed reward budget that drips out continuously over a fixed schedule. At any moment the drip is split among everyone holding an eligible position, in proportion to how much they hold.

* **Bigger deposits earn more.** Your share of the drip is your balance divided by everyone's balance.
* **Longer holds earn more.** Rewards accrue every second the position is open.
* **Leaving costs nothing you already earned.** Withdraw and accrual stops, but everything earned so far stays claimable.
* **Claim whenever you like.** Claims are cumulative. Claiming once at the end pays the same total as claiming every week.

## Where Your Money Sits

The two never mix. Rabbithole routes your deposit into the protocol and reads your position from the chain, but it does not custody either pot.
