# Tiers and Leaderboard

> How the weekly leaderboard ranks you, what each tier unlocks, and how to climb

Everything you earn on Rabbithole feeds one leaderboard. Your place on it sets your **tier**, and your tier sets your perks: raffle entries, daily check-in, and access to gated campaigns.

## The Leaderboard

The leaderboard has two views.

| View         | Ranks on                    | Window                                                                       |
| ------------ | --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Weekly**   | USD value of rewards earned | A rolling 7-day window that moves continuously. There is no fixed reset day. |
| **All time** | USD value of rewards earned | Since you joined.                                                            |

The weekly view is the one that matters for tiers. It is rebuilt about once an hour, so a claim or a big deposit can take up to an hour to move your rank.

Each row shows the rank, the X handle or address, the number of campaigns the person is earning in, and the amount earned. A check mark next to a name means a [verified account](/rabbithole/getting-started#verified-account).

## Tiers

There are five tiers, in order:

    Roughly the top tenth of weekly earners. Unlocks daily check-in.

  <Step title="Diamond">
    Roughly the top thousandth.

Your tier is read from your weekly rank, so it can move in either direction. Earn more than the people around you and you climb. Withdraw, or let others out-earn you, and you drop when the window rolls past your best days.

  The exact cut-offs are set by Rabbithole and shown in the app. Tiers and the entries they give are being reworked alongside the [raffle](/rabbithole/raffle) rebuild, so expect the boundaries above to change.

### The Deposit Goal

The ring on the home dashboard shows your deposits against a **tier goal**, with an estimate of what you could earn a year at the next tier. It is a guide to how much you would typically need deposited to sit in that tier at current rates, not a rule. Rank is what actually sets your tier.

## Benefits

Open **Benefits** from the rank card or the profile menu to see what your tier is giving you right now and what you need to keep it.

| Benefit                | How it works                                                                                                                                         |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Raffle entries**     | Every week you receive a number of raffle entries based on the tier you hold that week. Higher tiers get far more. See [Raffle](/rabbithole/raffle). |
| **Daily check-in**     | From Gold upward, check in once a day to build a streak and earn a small reward.                                                                     |
| **Keep what you have** | The panel tells you which tier to hold through the next weekly cutoff to keep your projected entries.                                                |

## How to Climb

* **Deposit more.** Your share of every campaign's rewards is proportional to your balance.
* **Stay in.** Rewards accrue every second, so a position held all week beats one opened on Friday.
* **Spread across campaigns.** The board counts earnings from every campaign together.
* **Chase the APY.** Campaigns early in their life often pay the highest rates because few people have joined.
